STELIOS DIONISIOU

The very moment that Stratos Dionisiou's third child was coming to life he was singing... He stopped for a moment and notified the audience his birth. It was 1974 back then...

When he finished High School he started speech training and guitar lessons. But his most precious teachers were his father Stratos and his big brother Aggelos Dionisiou.

His first time on the stage was along with his father in 1990. Nowadays he feels very lucky that had a chance to sing with him.

His first pro appearance was in Thessaloniki in 1996 with his brother Aggelos. He never doubted the profession he was going to follow: He was determined since he was a child. He had inherited the gift of his voice, and he couldn't avoid it anyway...

Since Automn of '96 he cooperated with Stamatis Gonidis and Alkistis Protopsalti. In 1997 he signed a contract with MINOS Records, the company that his father and his brother were in cooperation with.

His first album was published in December of 1997 in music by Marios Tokas and in rhyme by Fillipos Grapsas, under the title "With a name heavy like a history". The success was enormous for a such a young artist and the album became platinum after it sold 65.000 cds in a few days.

Then he coacted with Anna Bissi in 1998 and now is singing at the Appolon Palace along with other great singers like Antonis Remos and Lambis Livieratos.

His second album is expected to be published soon.
